About the Park
Centennial Center Park has been a beloved community destination since 2012. This award-winning, 15-acre park is conveniently located off Arapahoe Road, next to the Centennial Civic Center, draws visitors from across the state who come for the fun, the beauty and memorable experiences.
The Park offers spacious lawns, a large amphitheater for concerts and events, a playground for kids of all ages, a seasonal splash pad for safe water play, shaded shelter and gathering spaces, landscaped gardens, accessible walking paths, educational elements and more!
Historical and educational features are woven throughout the Park. The main plaza area highlights the history of the Cherry Creek Basin with fun facts and a map of the Cherry Creek Watershed. The amphitheater incorporates design elements representing the four periods of human history—Lithic, Archaic, Formative and Classic. Visitors can explore Colorado history along the Colorado Statehood Walk or test their knowledge with the interactive Viewfinder Walk, a trivia challenge that guides guests to unique points of interest both inside and beyond the park.
Whether you're looking to play, relax, attend an event, or learn something new, Centennial Center Park offers something for everyone.

Splash Pad
Centennial Center Park’s splash pad is a favorite summer spot, offering a refreshing play experience for children of all ages! This state-of-the-art water area features an expanded splash zone that includes interactive features and entertaining aquatic elements for safe, family fun. Enjoy water splashing, spraying and dumping, each year from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It’s a perfect way for kids to play, burn off some energy and cool down from the summer heat.
Water Wise
The splash pad uses a water-efficient recirculating system designed to conserve water while providing a safe and fun experience for the community. Instead of using a constant flow of fresh water, the system collects, filters, sanitizes and reuses water throughout the day.
The splash pad reservoir holds approximately 4,000 gallons of water, about the same amount a typical family of four uses in one month!
