Centennial's 25th Year Anniversary!

25 years Centennial

Centennial was built by its people—and it continues to thrive because of them. What began as a simple conversation over pancakes has grown into a vibrant community of more than 100,000 residents. For 25 years, neighbors, leaders, and partners have shaped the City we know today.

This page is your central hub for our 25-year anniversary—featuring stories, milestones, photo memories, news highlights, and upcoming events. Check back often for new ways to celebrate, connect and reflect on what makes Centennial special.

Our Story: From Pancakes to Centennial

Every community has a beginning—ours started with a breakfast table and a bold idea: creating a City that reflects the values of its community. Learn how five neighbors—Randy Pye, John Brackney, Brian Vogt, Ed Bosier and Pete Ross—sparked the movement that led to Centennial’s official establishment on February 7, 2001.
