Schedule an Inspection of Permitted Work

Step 1.The individual who pulled the permit must schedule the inspection

If a homeowner must schedule the inspection, this is the process.

Step 2.Do you need to schedule an inspection for a job a contractor pulled the permit on?

• First you need to create an account in the Self-Service Portal.
• Then contact the Building Division so that we may add you to the permit. You will be able to schedule an inspection once we link your account to the permit.  

Step 3.Schedule the inspection through the portal

First time users will need a valid email address to set up an account. It takes about 5 minutes to create a new account.

Instructions for applying for a permit/plan on the Self-Service Portal.

1. Log in with your email and password
2. Select the "Dashboard" on the top black bar
3. Click the blue "Active" circle
4. Select the permit number you would like to schedule for
5. Scroll down and select the "Inspections" tab
6. Click the "Action" box to the right of the inspection type to select the inspection

Note: Inspection times are anticipated, actual times may occur 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after the time window given.
