Overview 

All dogs over the age of six months must be licensed with the City of Centennial. Owners have thirty (30) days from the date the dog is brought into the City to get a license.

Payment policy

We accept Visa, Mastercard or Discover.

Licensing Fees

  • One year, spayed or neutered - $12
  • One year, unaltered - $24
  • Three year, spayed or neutered – $30
  • Three year, unaltered - $67

**Residents age 65 and older can call 303-325-8070 to get one free dog license per household each year with proof of age.

Step 1.Required Information

You must have:

  • Rabies certificate
  • Spay/neuter certificate

Step 2.If you received a notice in the mail

You will need your Animal “License Number” and Person ID Number which can be found on your notice.

The Animal License Number looks like “C12-12345” and the Person ID Number looks like “P0123456.”

Step 3.Or - If you don't have your notice on hand

Please indicate you didn't receive a notice when prompted by the system and enter all required information.

NOTE: You must enter the Animal License Number as it appears on the notice, i.e. ‘C12-12345'.

To apply or renew a dog license by mail, please print the Animal License Application Form(PDF, 601KB) and mail it with your payment to the address on the form.
 
Please make checks payable to City of Centennial; Centennial Animal Services-Finance Department. Remember to include a copy of the vaccination and spay/neuter certificate if applicable.
