The City is committed to being a good steward of taxpayer money while still supporting organizations that benefit the community. For full details and criteria, please see the City's Sponsorship/Donation Policy.(PDF, 309KB)
Please note that the City will NOT consider requests from the following:
- Groups not located within the City and/or not providing a benefit to Centennial citizens
- For-profit and corporate entities
- Fundraising events
- Individuals
- Religious or political groups
- Groups that discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, marital status or national origin
Additionally, all events requesting sponsorship must meet the following criteria:
- Provide a broad community impact
- Must be located in Centennial or demonstrate exceptional benefit for Centennial residents
- Not limit participation by membership
- Funds must be utilized solely for direct costs associated with conducting a specific event. Events where the expected revenue exceeds the costs are not eligible for sponsorship
- Schedule detailing major portions of the event
All applications for sponsorship must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event.
For profit and corporate entities should contact the City's Economic Development Division for information on economic development incentives and partnerships.
