Thinking about developing or redeveloping a property in the City? If so, a Development Pre-Submittal Meeting is required. (Planning to build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)? A pre-submittal meeting is required. More information can be found on the ADU pre-submittal meeting page.)
A pre-submittal meeting provides an applicant the opportunity to present a conceptual plan to City Staff and the Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA) and receive initial feedback on the feasibility of the plan. It also allows the applicant a chance to gain understanding of the development review process and identify ways to strengthen the proposed plan before submitting a formal application.
Please note that a pre-submittal meeting must take place before a formal development application can be submitted.

Once the completed application has been submitted, including all the required materials and the pre-submittal fee, a Planner will contact you to schedule the meeting.
Pre-submittal meetings are one hour in length and held virtually every Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. If a completed application is received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the pre-submittal meeting will be scheduled on the Wednesday two weeks later between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. In the event that all time slots are booked, it will be scheduled for the next available Wednesday.
