The City Clerk's Office manages liquor license applications for Centennial; however, these applications require approval from both the City of Centennial and the Colorado Department of Revenue, Liquor Enforcement Division. Apply for a New Liquor License
New application requirements:
- Register for a Customer Self-Service Portal Account to apply for a license and pay required fees.
- Obtain fingerprints following the IdentoGo fingerprinting instructions, after obtaining a unique code from the Licensing Specialist. Please email the Licensing Specialist for your unique code.
- For new liquor licenses, there is a requirement to assess the needs and desires of the neighborhood. This is often and most clearly proven through a petitioning process.
Applicants should allow a minimum of 60-90 days to complete the process. Matters requiring a Public Hearing are decided by the Centennial Liquor Licensing Authority.

Renew a Liquor License
The State will send a Renewal Application approximately 60 to 90 days before the expiration of the current license. Renewal Applications and fees must be submitted to Centennial no later than 45 days before the current license expires.
