Apply for a Building Permit

clip board and check list

As of June 21, 2023 the City of Centennial has updated its International Code Council (ICC) code years. Permits under review prior to June 21, 2023 will continue to be reviewed and issued under the 2015 codes. Within 180 days following the adoption of the 2021 code, an applicant can elect to build under the set of codes previously adopted, provided they reach out in writing and get approved by the Building Division.

Permits are required for new buildings, renovations and additions to existing buildings to ensure all structures within the City are safe to occupy. More information about checklists for residential or commercial permit submittal can be found here.
