City of Centennial Earns Eighth Exceptional Workplace Award

The City of Centennial has been honored with the prestigious 2025 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, recognizing its commitment to employee engagement and workplace excellence. As an eight-time winner, Centennial remains one of the few governmental entities to be recognized.

Despite the challenges of a rapidly evolving workplace, Gallup found that the City of Centennial continues to engage and develop its employees in innovative ways, setting new benchmarks for workplace culture and performance.

Gallup’s meta-analysis on team engagement and performance is the most comprehensive workplace study ever conducted, with data on more than 3.3 million employees in 347 organizations across 53 industries and 90 countries. Research shows highly engaged employees are involved in, enthusiastic about, and dedicated to their work and workplace. According to Gallup, winners of this award place their people at the heart of their organizational strategy -- focusing on strengths and coaching talent to its full potential to achieve business results like never before – while steadily improving well-being across the globe.

The Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award recognizes organizations that prioritize employee development and cultivate a workplace focused on creativity, innovation, and progress. To determine award recipients, Gallup assesses employee engagement using its Q12 survey, which measures key factors tied to performance, commitment, and business success.
