In 2026, the City of Centennial celebrates 25 years as an official Colorado city, marking its incorporation on February 7, 2001. What began with five residents sharing a pancake breakfast in the summer of 1998 has grown into a vibrant, connected community of more than 100,000 residents—and recognition as the #1 Best Place to Live in Colorado by U.S. News & World Report.

Join us in bringing family-friendly fun to life by partnering with the City of Centennial’s 2026 Community Event Series. This year’s lineup features inclusive, engaging programming across a variety of outdoor venues—anchored by the award-winning Centennial Center Park.

As we celebrate Centennial’s 25-year anniversary, the community event series will showcase live entertainment, delicious food and interactive activities that bring the Centennial community together. These FREE public events offer unique opportunities to connect with thousands of residents and visitors.

Programming begins in June and runs through October, culminating with our festive Sip in Centennial event.

2026 Event Line Up

NEW this year! Celebrate Centennial on Saturday, June 6 at Centennial Center Park from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Celebrate 25 years of Centennial through local performances, family friendly activities, and learning about the rich history of what makes Centennial what it is today.

Centennial Under the Stars on Saturday, August 8 at Centennial Center Park from 5 – 9 p.m. This community favorite is a perfect blend of summer! Enjoy the late afternoon sun and evening stars dancing to live music, enjoying local food truck fare and participating in a variety of activities for all ages.

Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, September 12 at The Streets at SouthGlenn from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Watch nearly 100 talented local artists as they bring their sidewalk chalk masterpieces to life. Discover local merchants and vendor booths, restaurants and live music.

Sip in Centennial on Saturday, October 17 at Centennial Center Park from 1 – 5 p.m. Sip in Centennial is an outdoor adult tasting event celebrating Colorado’s vibrant beverage scene. Discover a wide variety of tasting booths, live music and local food trucks.
