Informational Sessions Offered for Large Community Improvement Grant
Published on January 12, 2026
Centennial's Large Community Improvement Grant program kicks off next month, and in preparation, two informational sessions are being offered on Tuesday, February 10 and Thursday, February 12 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Centennial’s Eagle Street Facility (7272 S. Eagle St.). The City’s Neighborhood Services Manager will walk through the grant submittal process and speak with residents about their community improvement project ideas, discussing past successes and experiences, and answering questions.
Attendance at these sessions is strongly encouraged for any residents planning to apply for a Large Community Improvement Grant. The Large Community Improvement Grant supports larger-scale improvements to neighborhoods, empowering Centennial residents and groups to spearhead community-based projects while providing the building blocks and resources for neighborhood identity. Groups may apply for up to $10,000 per project for community-based improvements, including but not limited to neighborhood signage, landscaping improvements, placemaking and community gardens.
Applications officially open Friday, February 13. To find application criteria, eligibility requirements and more, visit centennialco.gov/communitygrants.
Established in 2021, the City’s Community Grant Program champions resident-led initiatives, contributing to community improvement and neighborhood identity, with over $400K in funds awarded to communities throughout Centennial since its inception.
