City of Centennial Earns 7th Consecutive Exceptional Workplace Award

The City of Centennial has earned the prestigious 2023 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, continuing its consecutive streak as a seven-time winner and the only governmental entity ever recognized. Only 41 organizations receive this distinction worldwide.

For over a decade, the prestigious Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (formerly the Gallup Great Workplace Award) honors thriving organizations that have attained world-class performance by making engagement a cornerstone of their business strategy. Engaged employees are involved in, enthusiastic about, and dedicated to their work and workplace. They consistently generate creativity, innovation and growth, paving the path to performance excellence. According to Gallup, winners of this award place their people at the heart of their organizational strategy -- focusing on strengths and coaching talent to its full potential to achieve business results like never before – while steadily improving wellbeing across the globe.

The 2023 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award is awarded to organizations that have differentiated themselves by demonstrating how their workplace interventions drive a culture of engagement and business performance.

Each organization’s employee engagement is measured using Gallup’s Q12 employee engagement survey, which asks employees questions tied to their performance, commitment to their organization, and specific business metrics.
