Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space

Centennial owns 107 acres of open space along Cherry Creek, and is responsible for its maintenance and operations. This land completes one of the last significant links in the 40-mile Cherry Creek Regional Trail, which extends from downtown Denver to Castlewood Canyon State Park in Douglas County. Together with the Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park and 17-Mile Park, it forms a regionally significant network of natural areas where the public can enjoy the Cherry Creek ecosystem and its natural history. The Broncos Parkway Trailhead, funded in part by Arapahoe County and Parker Jordan Metro District (PJMD), provides trail access.

The City acquired the site in phases. In 2010, the City and PJMD each acquired 50% ownership. The City acquired full ownership in 2017.
