Economies are local, regional and global. We work closely with economic development organizations across the region to support the local economy and provide the most effective services to the Centennial business community.

Arapahoe Community College, founded in 1965 as Arapahoe Junior College, was the first 2-year college in the greater Denver metro area. The college grew out of a grassroots effort by Littleton residents who wanted to provide post-high school education in the area.

Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Workforce Center is a member of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s statewide network of workforce centers, which provide a variety of no-cost services to job seekers and businesses. Arapahoe/Douglas Works! serves as a critical resource to connect people and businesses in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, and throughout the Denver/Aurora metropolitan region.

Arapahoe Libraries provide one-on-one research assistance, classes and a wide variety of resources to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. From convenient and professional meeting locations to the best market research tools, we are committed to providing outstanding and personalized service, turning every search for knowledge into a helpful adventure.

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, action-oriented membership organization that serves as the leading business "voice" and representative of businesses in the east metro area. As a voluntary organization, the Chamber unites businesses, professionals and firms into a central agency that works to improve the business climate and builds a better community.

The Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center offers free one-on-one consultations and provides business development training and resources to entrepreneurs and small businesses looking to grow in Arapahoe, Douglas and south Jefferson counties. 

The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility for high school students in Cherry Creek Schools. With curriculum rooted in real-world skills and trade certifications ranging from the computer sciences to aviation to health sciences, this facility offers students a new kind of bridge to college and viable, successful careers.

The Colorado Enterprise Fund is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution small business lender creating impact for underserved Colorado entrepreneurs and communities. We provide access to capital for small businesses that do not qualify for traditional financing guidelines.

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade promote economic growth and long-term job creation by supporting small businesses and encouraging business expansion across the state. They champion the industries that make Colorado unique, like the creative industries, outdoor recreation and tourism. 

Community College of Aurora (CCA) is nestled in the heart of Centennial. This dynamic campus is the hub for CCA’s Health Science and Public Safety programs—including Nursing, EMT, Paramedic, Fire Science, Behavioral Health and Phlebotomy.

The Denver South Economic Development Partnership is an organization of government and business leaders committed to the economic vitality and sustainability of the South Metro Denver region. The partnership achieves this through a comprehensive strategy focused on business retention, expansion and attraction; active advocacy of transportation and water infrastructure improvement; direct, proactive support for education and workforce development; and encouragement of business-friendly public policy.

Littleton Public Schools Explorative Pathways for Innovative Careers (EPIC) Campus, opened to students in August 2023 and provides opportunities for students to experience hands-on learning using state-of-the-art technology and innovative processes.

Manufacturer’s Edge is Colorado’s official Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center. They provide onsite support, strategy, planning, training and technical assistance to manufacturers of all sizes. 

The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, is the nation’s first and only regional economic development entity in which many area economic development groups have joined together to represent and further the interests of an entire region. Partners include 70 cities, counties and economic development organizations in the seven-county Metro Denver and two-county Northern Colorado region.

In 1921, a group of 74 forward-thinking business executives organized the beginnings of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Today, the South Metro Denver Chamber is one of the most influential forces in local government and regional economic development. With more than 1,600 members incorporating over 85,000 employees, the Chamber is actively involved in public policy and providing valuable resources to its members. The organization believes that individuals working together are a true force to be reckoned with.
