Senior Commission

Overview

The City of Centennial values residents of all ages and benefits from having an open forum to discuss community needs and opportunities to make Centennial a great place to live for all, including older adults.

About the Senior Commission

Since 2010, the Centennial Senior Commission has encouraged older adult involvement in community issues. The Senior Commission serves as a forum for the expression of ideas, needs, concerns and goals related to community issues, particularly as they may affect older adults, and advises City Council on matters affecting older residents.

Members

This group of volunteers is composed of seven older Centennial residents who are appointed by City Council. Members serve three-year terms. The Senior Commission meets at 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the Centennial Public Works Facility.
