Graduating high school seniors residing in the City of Centennial are encouraged to seize a unique opportunity as the City, in collaboration with Jacobs, presents the Youth Achievement Awards. This scholarship program is designed to recognize and reward exemplary young leaders for their notable contributions to Centennial through service and outstanding leadership in school, community, and the workplace.

Up to four recipients will be honored with $1,000 college scholarships, providing financial assistance for tuition, fees, and course enrollment as they embark on their higher education journey. The program is open to all graduating high school seniors residing in Centennial who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and made significant contributions to their community.

How to apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications by visiting centennialco.gov/youthawards before the deadline on Monday, April 22. Applications should include a completed application form, well-crafted essay responses, and a letter of recommendation.

Selection Process: A distinguished panel from the Centennial Youth Commission, an advisory board serving the Centennial City Council and composed of youth aged 13 to 18, will carefully review the applications and select the deserving recipients based on their leadership, service, and overall impact on the community.
