District 2 City Council Member Christine Sweetland is a dedicated Centennial resident, actively engaged in volunteering and spending quality time with her husband and two sons. Renowned for her commitment to exceptional customer care, Christine leverages this principle in her role as an elected official, prioritizing effective communication to address constituent concerns and resolve conflicts. In her second term, Christine is determined to address housing challenges and explore multi-modal opportunities in the City, shaping a future that ensures growth and opportunity while preserving the beloved suburban lifestyle. Remaining closely connected to her constituents, Christine listens attentively to their needs and aspirations. She is committed to supporting the business community, enhancing public safety in collaboration with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office, and actively contributing to Centennial's vitality.

Outside her responsibilities as a public servant, Christine is a Certified Residential Appraiser and the CEO of 5280 Appraisal, LLC—a small business she established in 2008, servicing the Denver Metro Area. Whether passionately supporting the Broncos or immersing herself in the rich tapestry of the Colorado lifestyle, Christine treasures moments spent with family and friends. She indulges her love for hiking, explores new horizons through travel, and finds comfort in the pages of a captivating book.
