About the Energy Action Plan

The City of Centennial recently completed an Energy Action plan through Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy program, outlining tangible steps for the City to move the community toward its energy efficiency and resiliency goals. Xcel Energy Partners in Energy facilitated a series of workshops with the Energy Action Planning Team, starting in the summer of 2018, to develop the plan. The planning team included representatives from Centennial's municipal operations, libraries, park and recreation district, Colorado State University Arapahoe County Extension, and the community. Three important focus areas were identified in the process: Residents, Businesses and Community Facilities. Energy efficiency opportunities for each group are detailed on this page. Learn more at the Xcel Energy Partners in Energy webpage.
