C-PACE
Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) allows building owners to finance up to 100 percent of the cost of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation improvements with no up-front capital. The costs of eligible improvements are realized over 25 years as an additional assessment on your property tax bill. Business Lighting Upgrades
Take advantage of Xcel Energy’s business lighting programs to save on LED upgrades and other lighting efficiency projects.
Small businesses (less than 400 kW peak demand) can take advantage of Xcel Energy’s FREE Small Business Lighting Program. A lighting advisor will come visit your business to identify cost-saving improvement opportunities, recommend upgrades, and connect you with a contractor to take advantage of rebates.
Larger businesses can use Xcel Energy’s Business Lighting Efficiency program to earn rebates for purchasing and installing energy-efficient lighting equipment.
Business Heating Equipment Rebates
Natural gas business customers could save big on energy efficient upgrades that reduce heating costs. Eligible equipment and projects include, but are not limited to:
- Hot water boilers
- Furnaces
- Water heaters
- Modular burner controls
- Stack dampers
- Steam trap upgrades
Heating & Cooling Rebates
Heating and cooling can make up a significant portion of a business’s energy bills. Take advantage of Xcel Energy’s heating efficiency rebates as a retail natural gas customer and cooling efficiency rebates to speed up the payback period of energy-savings projects.
Free Onsite Energy Audits
Xcel Energy is currently offering FREE onsite energy audits to businesses and community facilities under 50,000 square feet through the end of 2020. With an Onsite Energy Audit, an energy advisor will conduct a comprehensive audit of your facility and give you with a detailed report valued at up to $2,700. In addition, businesses with an annual peak demand of less than 100 kW can qualify to receive free, select energy-saving products, including screw-in LED lamps and faucet aerators at the time of the energy audit.

Small Building Tune-Up
The Small Building Tune-Up program will identify functional systems that can be tuned up to run as efficiently as possible through low- or no-cost improvements that can save you as much as 15% on your energy bills.

$250 — 5,000 - 25,000 sq. ft.
$500 — 25,001 - 50,000 sq. ft.
