Broncos Youth Activity Grant Program

Broncos Youth Grant Program, Apply Today!

Due to the sale of the Broncos Football Team, the City of Centennial is offering $900,000 in grant funding to support youth activity programs. The Metropolitan Football Stadium District was required to share a portion of the sale proceeds with local governments allowing the City to offer this opportunity.

Any projects seeking $10,000 or more require City Council approval. The funding received by the City was a one-time influx and therefore this grant program is not expected to continue indefinitely.

The City is accepting applications for the Broncos Youth Activity Grant Program on a continual basis until funding is expended. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Goals For the Funds

Centennial City Council approved Resolution No. 2023-R-18(PDF, 529KB), establishing the goals and priorities for the City's use of the Denver Broncos sale funds including:

  • Involve Centennial youth in leadership, civics, recreational and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) initiatives;
  • Leverage funding through other groups to provide youth with educational and practical opportunities while focusing on Centennial issues; and
  • Assist local youth program providers with matching dollars for other grant or funding programs, intending to leverage partner and City funds.
