The Centennial People’s Art Gallery is a space in the Centennial Civic Center dedicated to the display and appreciation of art from the Centennial community.

About the Program

All interested artists must complete and submit an Artist Application and sign the Artist Agreement to have their artwork considered for display. Selected artists may offer their artwork for sale while on display; however, all sales must be conducted by the artist or representing gallery. The City of Centennial does not receive commission on, or compensation from, the sale of artwork displayed in the Centennial Civic Center. A short artist’s bio will be displayed adjacent to the art. Selected artworks must be delivered to the Centennial Civic Center by the specified date and will remain on display for the duration of the exhibition, which is anticipated, but not guaranteed, to last one year. The 2018 Centennial People’s Art Gallery will display 2-dimensional artworks that are framed or mounted and ready to hang. 

Open Call Duration: September 20, 2017 – November 3, 2017
Application Deadline: 5 p.m. November 3, 2017
Artist Reception:  5 – 6 p.m. December 4, 2017
Exhibit Dates: December 4, 2017 – December 3, 2018


Artists who live or work in Centennial, Colorado, are eligible to apply.

*City of Centennial staff members are ineligible to apply. 

2019 Exhibit

Applications for the 2019 exhibit of the Centennial People's Art Gallery will open in September of 2018.
