The number of attendees at programs offered by the School Resource Officers and Community Resource Unit.

Quarterly Performance:

The number of attendees at events is important to Law Enforcement because by engaging directly with members of the community, a wide variety of partnerships will be created. These community partnerships assist in reducing crime, apprehending those involved in criminal activity and improving the community’s overall quality of life.

During the first quarter of 2019, the Community Resources Unit (CRU) held 51 classes with 1,573 attendees and the School Resource Officer Unit (SRO) held 119 classes with 1,691 attendees. Both units combined for the first quarter total 170 classes with 3,264 attendees. The three-year (2016-2018) first quarter average number of classes was 203 with an average attendance of 4,956. The number of total classes held and total number of attendees was below the three-year average.
