Site-Civil Construction Documents (CDs) are required for all public and private site improvements, except for those deemed exempt by the City of Centennial.
Prior to submitting Site-Civil Construction Documents (CDs), a pre-submittal meeting is required (assuming a land-use case was not necessary which would call for a pre-submittal). A pre-submittal meeting allows the applicant to ask questions and obtain information about City procedures, practices and standards. A separate CD review fee is required prior to review. Fees are payable to the City of Centennial in the amount indicated on the fee schedule.
As a part of the review process CDs are referred to the Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA) and the City of Centennial Public Works Department. SEMSWA is responsible for the review and approval of storm water related items as part of the Site-Civil Construction Documents. Approvals from outside agencies such as water, sanitary and fire districts as well as the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Regional Transportation District (RTD) will need to be provided to the case engineer before CDs are approved by the City. Outside agencies will not receive a referral directly from the City, this is the responsibility of the applicant.
Site-Civil Construction Documents that are under review with no contact or resubmitted for one year are considered expired and subject to a new submittal including fees with review against current standards.
