A pre-submittal meeting provides the applicant the opportunity to present a conceptual plan to a representative from the Current Planning Division.

Applicants will receive general comments on the feasibility of the plan; the processes and fees required to process and review the plan; and a list of referrals. A development application will not be accepted without completing the steps below.

Process:

Step 1:
You may submit either electronically or on paper.  To submit electronically save copies of all documents listed in PDF format on a compact disk. Paper submittals must bring four folded and collated paper copies of your completed Land Development Application and Pre-Submittal Packet to the Centennial Civic Center (13133 E. Arapahoe Rd.) with the $200 application fee. The pre-submittal application fee is credited towards the development application fees upon submittal of a Land Development Application. Pre-submittal meetings are held every Wednesday from noon to 5 p.m. If your completed application and packets are received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday of any week, you will be eligible for a scheduled pre-submittal meeting appointment in two weeks. In the event that all time slots are booked, you will be scheduled for the next available Wednesday. Please note:  Both the application and the packet materials must be completed in full before a pre-submittal meeting will be scheduled.

Step 2:
Attend the pre-submittal meeting. During that meeting, you will receive further instruction from City planners and engineers on how best to proceed with your proposal.
