Arapahoe County is the custodian of building, structure, land use, and planning records prior to 2002 because the City of Centennial was not legally established as a Colorado City until the year 2001.

On February 7, 2001, the City of Centennial was legally established as a Colorado City; therefore our building, structure, land use and planning records retention did not begin until the year 2002.

Environmental Protection Agency: The City of Centennial does not conduct environmental tests, or have any property records regarding environmental testing. Please check with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Public Health and Environment: For records related to air quality, hazardous materials, waste management, water quality, health facilities, emergency medical services, immunization records, adoption, births, deaths, marriages, civil unions, and divorces visit the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Zoning may be searched on the City’s Official Zoning Map with District Descriptions. If more detailed information regarding zoning is needed, you may send a Zoning Request Letter to the City of Centennial’s Community Development Department and include a check for $75 made out to the City of Centennial.
