The Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center offers assistance and support to entrepreneurs in Arapahoe, Douglas and south Jefferson counties. The SBDC works with small business owners at all stages of business, whether they have an idea and are considering starting a business, have just started their business, or have been operating for an extended period of time. The center provides a number of services and resources to help entrepreneurs start and run their company.
The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (Metro Denver EDC), an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, is the nation’s first and only regional economic development entity in which many area economic development groups have joined together to represent and further the interests of an entire region. Partners include 70 cities, counties and economic development organizations in the seven-county Metro Denver and two-county Northern Colorado region.

In 1921, a group of 74 forward-thinking business executives organized the beginnings of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Today, the South Metro Denver Chamber is one of the most influential forces in local government and regional economic development. With more than 1,600 members incorporating over 85,000 employees, the Chamber is actively involved in public policy and providing valuable resources to its members. The organization believes that individuals working together are a true force to be reckoned with.
The Denver South Economic Development Partnership is an organization of government and business leaders committed to the economic vitality and sustainability of the South Metro Denver region. The partnership achieves this through a comprehensive strategy focused on business retention, expansion and attraction; active advocacy of transportation and water infrastructure improvement; direct, proactive support for education and workforce development; and encouragement of business-friendly public policy.
