Every few years the City of Centennial conducts a survey of its citizens to see how well the city government is meeting their needs and to determine the issues of concern to them.
The survey is administered by National Research Center, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado and includes questions about quality of life in the community, local policies, demographics, ratings of local government services and resident use of services. By contracting with an independent, external firm, the survey promotes scientific validity.
The completely confidential survey was sent to 1,850 randomly selected Centennial residents. To gather even more feedback, we promoted an optional online survey through various social media channels, doubling our response rate.
The feedback received in conjunction with the key performance measurement outcomes are used by City Council and staff to analyze the effectiveness, responsiveness and value of City services and help Centennial make decisions that affect our City.
